Build your own view
Why this matters
The first eleven steps were knowledge. This one is a practice. A view is not a feeling about the future; it is a statement of what you think will happen, the evidence behind it, and the level that would prove you wrong. Write all three down before you act, or you are guessing with extra steps.
This is where the personal-development half of the curriculum lands. Understanding money is how you stop outsourcing decisions to whoever is loudest. The goal is not to be right more often than the market — it is to know why you hold what you hold, so that a drawdown is information rather than panic and a rally is a chance to reassess rather than to chase.
Everything we publish is written to be checked, not believed. If you can read a piece on this site, disagree with it on the evidence, and say exactly where — you have finished the course, and you no longer need it. That is the whole aim.
